About The Shore Resort

 

The Shore Resort is confusingly named as it is not next to the sea. However, it does have a good selection of rooms on offer at reasonable prices. They have hotel rooms that start at 1,300 Thai Baht. They also have private pool villas.

 

The resort also has a communal swimming pool as well as a restaurant.

 

The resort got upgraded in 2016 from 3 stars to 4 stars, and hence the price rises.

 

Accommodation

 

There are 31 rooms and villas for rent at the Shore Resort. They all feature modern design, air-con, satellite TV and free wifi.

• Standard hotel. In an accommdation block. Each room has a private balcony
• Superior Villa. Large villas with either double bed or twin beds. Each villa has a private balcony
• Family Villa. Has 2 bedrooms plus private balcony
• Pool Villa. Large villa with 2 bedrooms as well as a small private plunge pool that is shared with villa next door. Not always available for online booking.

 

Resort facilities

 

The Shore Resort has an attractive communal swimming pool with sun lounging areas around the pool. There is also a good restaurant serving a variety of Thai, Western and seafood dishes at reasonable prices. There is also poolside bar service available.

 

There is free wifi in public areas. To make up for the isolation of the resort there is a hotel shuttle service to the nearby area for 100 Thai Baht per person. Other services offered are tour organisation, car hire , laundry service and safety deposit boxes.

 

The Shore Resort offers free pick up on arrival from Thongsala. In order to get the free transfer you have to contact the resort 1 day before arrival.

 

The resort is about a 1 km from Koh Phangan's latest water park - Slip and Fly.

 

Minimum Stay

 

During the Full Moon Party there is a minimum stay requirement of 3 nights. The same restriction applies at Christmas. For New Year's Eve the minimum stay requirment is 7 nights.
