About Sunset Cove Resort

Sunset Cove Resort is a small family-run resort on the beach at Haad Chao Phao. They have a collection of well made air-con bungalows in a garden next to the beach.

The resort facilities include beachfront restaurant and swimming pool as well as a mini gym. There is high speed wifi internet.

Accommodation

The furnishing and finish of the rooms at Sunset Cove Resort are impressive. Natural materials have been used to good effect. All rooms are air-con and have hot water bathrooms. All rooms also have fridge, TV, DVD player, safe and free wifi. Here are descriptions of the room types available at Sunset Cove Resort:

• Seaview Cottage - Line of cottages just behind swimming pool with seaview. The cottages are 37 sq metres in size and feature separate sitting room with wooden couch, TV, DVD player and fridge. The bathroom features a wooden bath tub. There are 4 seaview cottages.
• Garden View Suite - The line of bungalows behind the seaview cottages. There are 5 garden view cottages. As with the seaview cottages they have 37 sq. metres of space and feature sitting room, wooden bath tub, TV, DVD player and private balcony.
• Deluxe Bungalow - These have 36 square metres of internal living space with large private terrace. The bungalows have large bedroom and en-suite bathroom featuring outdoor shower with heated water. The cottages have TV, DVD player, fridge and safe.
• Deluxe Family Cottage - these are cottages with 2 bedrooms with connecting doors. Each bedroom is 16 sq metres. One has a double bed and the other twin beds. There is one bathroom with outdoor shower with heater. Deluxe family cottage is ideal for couples with kids. The cottage also has TV, DVD player, fridge and safe.
• Standard Double - These are 15 bungalows at the back of the resort. The bungalows have 20 sq. metres of space. They have a bedroom and attached bathroom with hot water shower and toilet. The bungalow also has a private terrace as well as amenities such as TV, DVD player, fridge and safe.

Resort facilities

There is a good selection of amenities and facilities at Sunset Cove Resort. There is the pool and restaurant at the beachfront. The restaurant serves a selection of Thai and Western dishes as well as range of hot and cold beverages. Often room prices include a free breakfast.

There is also a room with gym equipment. This makes Sunset Cove Resort one of the few accommodation providers in the wider area offering exercise equipment.

The rooms have air-con, hot water, TV, DVD player, fridge and safe. Not all the TVs are new fancy flatscreens, and the selection of English speaking channels is limited. However, there is a DVD library for guest use which goes a long way to making up for the TV programmining. Each bungalow has a safe so residents can leave valuables in their room and maintain peace of mind.

The friendly staff at the reception are happy to organise ferry tickets, laundry, sightseeing tours and taxis.

There is free wifi throughout the resort. Hairdryers are available on request.

Child Policy

Children aged 3 to 12 years old sharing with parents and not using an extra bed are charged 250 Thai Baht a night. If they take an extra bed the cost is 700 Thai Baht.
