Sea Scene Resort
Sea scene is a good choice if you want a quiet and relaxing place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The private beach is nice. You can rent motorbikes there, and the staff can book boat tickets for you. The food in the restaurant is good. We loved our stay at sea scene resort. Vaiva L, Norway - Tripadvisor
This place is in a beautiful setting by the sea. Lovely picturesque sea front bungalows. The location is about 5 minutes drive to Thong Sala, you can rent a moped from the reception for 200baht per day which is a good way to explore the island. Otherwise a taxi is 100 baht per person.Fionadunleavy, Ireland - Tripadvisor
We really enjoyed the hotel. It is family run, and the attention to details are noticed. Many other resorts in Thailand lack it. Good wifi throughout the resort even in rooms and on the beach. Joel P, Canada - Agoda

Sea Scene Resort
Sea Scene Resort is located at the northern end of Plaay Laem Beach. It is a friendly resort with 4 rows of bungalows next to the beach. They are all comfortable air-con bungalows with hot water bathrooms.
The resort also has a large restaurant and bar serving a selection of Thai and Western food all day long. It is a friendly resort with staff who speak good English. The resort rates highly on review sites.
Sea Scene Resort has 22 bungalows in rows along the beach. They all have air-con, hot water bathroom and free wifi.
In the first row is 'Rim Lay'. This bungalow has a double bed and a sofa bed as well as air-con, TV and small fridge. Rim Lay has a terrace with access to the sand. The Family Beachfront bungalow is also in the first row. It has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The Family Seaview is similar only it is in the second row of bungalows.
The other first row bungalows have double beds. The 'seaview bungalows' are in the second row, and the 'garden view' bungalows are in the third and fourth row.
Sea Scene Resort has a large open plan reception and restaurtant area with plenty of seating. They have a large menu with plenty of Thai and Western options. The restaurant is on the grass verge at the edge of the beach. There is also some seating on the beach, and a swing for the children.
It is a quiet spot and the resort doesn't encourage parties and rowdy behaviour. They have a bookshelf for guests to swap books. There is free wifi in the bungalows and in the restaurant.
The staff are friendly and happy to arrange travel tickets, motorbike rental and laundry service.
This is a little complicated. Between 25 December and 2 January the minimum stay is 5 nights. It is 3 nights for 16 June to 31 August and also 3 nights for the Full Moon Party. The child policy is no less baffling. Children must be between 4 and 11 years old (yes, I know). Between 4 and 8 a child sharing the parent's bed is free. In Rim Lay and the Beachfront Bungalows children under 10 years old can use the sofa bed free of charge. If you want to accommodate 2 children you can rent an extra mattress in Seaview Bungalows for 400 Thai Baht a night.
