About Phangan Cove Resort

Phangan Cove Resort opened in 2013. The resort facilities are in excellent condition as are the rooms and bungalows.

This is not the cheapest place to stay but the accommodation shows a delightful eye for detail. They have re-defined the functional 1 bed bungalow and made something alot more comfortable and stylish.

The resort is right on the sand and has a popular restaurant. It is located near the cafes, restaurants and yoga places of Srithanu.

Accommodation

Phangan Cove Resort has both fan and air-con rooms and bungalows. None have TV or DVD players but they do have interior design and furniture. There are also a few 2 storey bungalows with kitchen downstairs and bedroom upstairs. The accommodation is in excellent condition and is cleaned regularly. All rooms have free wifi. Here are accommodation options at Phangan Cove Resort:

• Small room with fan - bungalow with double bed with sofa and lounge area and sliding doors leading to private terrace. En-suite hot water bathroom.
• Large room with fan - bungalow with double bed, sofa, coffee table and private terrace. En-suite hot water bathroom.
• Bungalow with kitchen - This is a misnomer. It is a small 2-storey house with fan bedroom and en-suite bathroom upstairs and kitchen and lounge downstairs. Don't get too excited - kitchen means microwave oven, fridge and sink.
• Beachfront Bungalow - Big air-con bungalow with double bed, en-suite hot water bathroom, upstairs terace and wall-to-ceiling glass sliding doors for great sea views.
• 2 bed Bungalow - Large bungalows in garden setting. Has one room with 2 double beds. Also en-suite hot water bathroom and private balcony area.

All the 'bungalows' have white walls and floor tiles or wooden floors. They all have splashes of red and a pleasing modern design ethic.

Resort facilities

Phangan Cove Resort has a beachfront restaurant with a large menu covering Thai, Western and seafood. The cooking is good and the prices are reasonable. The seating is on raised decking overlooking the beach.

There are a row of distinctive red deckchairs on the beach. These announce the design theme of the resort.
