About Hinkong Resort

Hinkong Resort is located near the centre of the bay, next to the beach. It offers cheap fan bungalows, air-con rooms as well as air-con bungalows.

The resort has a pool (that it apparently rents from the spa next door), a restaurant and a bar. While we normally take reviews with a pinch of salt, it must be mentioned that the comments on Agoda are very bad for this resort. It is hoped that the owners of the resort are more pro-active in restoring a good reputation to this resort.

Accommodation

There are 15 accommodation units at Hinkong Resort. The choices are:

Fan bungalow
Air-con room with double bed
Air-con-room with double bed and single bed (or 3 singles)
Seaview air-con bungalow
Seaview air-con bungalow for 3 people

All rooms have air-con, hot water showers, TV and fridge except for the fan bungalows. The bungalows start near the beach and go up a slight hill. The bungalows at the top have the best seaviews but are the furthest from the beach. The fan bungalows are in a garden without seaviews.

Resort facilities

Hinkong Resort is next to the beach. The restaurant is beachfront. It has basic platforms on the beach as well as normal table and chairs seating. The restaurant serves Thai and Western food.

The resort has a small pool near the beach. Apparently, it is owned by the spa next door. The resort staff can organise transport for the Full Moon Party. There is also a laundry service. Wifi is available in public areas and in rooms for free.

Child Policy

Children can stay for free if no extra bedding is used.

Minimum Stay

The minimum stay for the Full Moon Party is 3 nights. For both Christmas and New Year's Eve the minimum stay is 5 nights.
