About Golden Hill Resort

 

Golden Hill Resort is a small resort located on a hill overlooking Wok Tum Beach. It is a friendly resort with good amenities that has excellent reviews on both Trip Advisor and Agoda.

 

Golden Hill Resort offers both hotel style rooms and bungalows. The resort includes a restaurant and a communal swimming pool.

 

The star of the show is the stunning view over the ocean to Ang Thong Marine Park which you can see from many of the bungalows as well as from the pool and restaurant.

 

It is possible to walk down from the resort to the beach. The journey takes about 10 minutes.

 

Accommodation

 

There is a choice between a hotel style room and a bungalow. There are a total of 36 different accommodations. The standard hotel rooms have air-con, en-suite bathroom with hot water and TV. The standard bungalows have the same amenities as well as a private balcony.

 

The pool front rooms are also similar. The advantage of these rooms are that they overlook the communal swimming pool.

 

The Superior Bungalow has air-con, hot water bathroom and 2 beds (1 double and 1 single).

 

All rooms have free wifi. They are all a generous size. The rooms are clean and functional.

 

Resort facilities

 

Golden Hill Resort is a self-contained resort due to its comparative isolation at the top of a hill overlooking the ocean. This means there is a pool and a restaurant. The staff are happy to try and meet guests requests. They also have a taxi service for those wanting to go shopping, catch a ferry or attend the Full Moon Party.

 

The restaurant stays open all day and serves a selection of well-cooked Thai and Western dishes. They also have cold drinks, smoothies, spirits and beer.

 

There is a laundry service. At reception you can organise cheap motorbike hire.

 

Minimum Stay

 

The minimum stay for the Full Moon Party is 3 nights (you can arrive on the day of the party). The minimum stay for Christmas and New Year is 5 nights.
