Colorful Hut
We had a simple fan-Bungalow with a fantastic beach-view. Even the bathroom was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The Manager even took my son to the gym. It's just outside Thongsala, not far from one of the Ferry ports. The town is an easy walk and as said, the beautiful beach just in front.Ann, Australia - Booking.com

Colorful Hut has a collection of 10 bungalows near the beach painted bright colours. There is a choice of fan or air-con bungalow.
The resort also includes a beachfront restaurant and bar. This is a basic backpacker place. The main selling point is the cheap price not the lick of paint on the huts.
There are 10 huts for rent. There is a choice of air-con or fan bungalow. The cheap fan bungalows have a mattress on raised plinth, en-suite cold water bathroom with shower and Western toilet and a small balcony area outside.
The more expensive huts have air-con and en-suite cold water shower. Some also have a TV and small fridge. For 800 Thai Baht you can get an air-con bungalow near the beach - that is good value!
Colorful Hut has a beachfront restaurant that serves a range of Thai food such as green curry and phad Thai and Western standards such as sandwiches and French fries. The food is served quickly and is reasonably priced.
There is also a wooden bar on the beach. Being close to Thongsala means the beer prices are cheap at the bar - if they weren't then guests would make the short stroll into town to find a better bar.
There is free wifi in the huts and public areas. The staff are friendly and ready to offer advice to guests. There is also a laundry service available.
The only point to flag about Colorful Hut is the lack of reviews about the resort.
