Buakao Inn

 

Buakao Inn is above A's Coffee Shop. It is in a central location on the main road of Thongsala (Soi Krung Thai), near Kasikorn Bank and Panthip Market. The inn consists of a few rooms each with air-con, hot water shower and TV.

 

The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are kept in good condition. This is a popular hotel for those staying a night before catching a ferry in the morning.

 

Accommodation

 

There are 5 rooms available for rent at Buakao Inn. The cheapest is No.1. This is the only fan room. The rest are air-con rooms. All rooms come with en-suite hot water bathroom, safety deposit box and cable TV. Here are the details:

 

• No.1 - Fan room with cable TV, hot water shower.
• Nos 2&3 - Air-con rooms with cable TV, hot water shower, fridge and 1 double bed.
• No.4 - Air-con room with cable TV, hot water shower and 2 single beds
• No.5 - Air-con room with cable TV, hot water shower, fridge and 1 double bed

 

So unless you need fridge the choice is between fan and air-con and between 2 single beds and 1 double bed. All rooms have free wifi internet.

 

Resort facilities

 

Buakao Inn has 5 comfortable rooms. 4 have air-con and 1 has a fan. They are all comfortable and clean and include hot water shower, electronic safety box and cable TV. For guest use only there is a separate lounge with TV and library.

 

Downstairs is the popular A's Coffee Shop. They have been cooking great food for over 15 years. They have excellent Western food as well as tasty Thai dishes on the menu. There is a real coffee machine and they serve a mean cocktail. Being in in the centre of Thongsala means everything is near by.

 

The staff are friendly and speak good English. They are happy to offer a laundry service and also provide room service. The inn can recommend tours and organise motorbike hire. Occasionally a live band plays in the restaurant but this is generally not a raucous drinking spot.

 

Free wifi is available in the rooms and in the coffee shop.
